VINIFICATION, WINEMAKING AND AGING NOTES
V DE VÍCTOR is a blend inspired by the character of Víctor Henriquez Solar, founder of the winery and after whom the wine is named. It is a structured, elegant wine with a more classic personality. Aging in French oak barrels results in a smoke and graphite-scented nose, and a firm structure to support all the flavor of ripe fruit and a wide array of spices. It is concentrated and persistent, yet not exuberant. The tannins are forward and firm, but pleasant. The finish reveals sweet and persistent flavors that evidence all the work involved in producing the different batches of grapes, vinifying each one separately, aging in barrels made especially for each batch, and the final blend of all of them.
BLEND
This blend consists of 46.5% of Cabernet Sauvignon, which provides the body and represents the classic character of Chilean wines, and it is the base grape of our great wines. 38% of Carmenère confers breadth and a creamy, sweet palate marked by notes of pepper. A 12% of Petit Verdot completes the structure, increases the complexity, and gives a nice violet hue. Finally, 3.5% of Syrah gives it the freshest character and fills the palate with flavour.
