As the second wine born in the 1960s from the iconic Fourth Great Classified Growth Chateau Talbot, the Connetable de Talbot is one of the pioneers in the Medoc on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region. Vintage after vintage, this great wine from the renowned Saint-Julien appellation has become a wine with a personality in its own right. Reflecting all the typicity of the appellation and elaborated with the same attention as that given to the first wine, the Connetable de Talbot displays the elegance that gives Saint-Julien its charm. Medium-bodied palate with currant, chocolate, coffee-bean and cedar character. Round, chewy tannins and a rich, flavorful finish.
