Joseph Drouhin Pommard comes from prestigious vineyards south of Beaune. Old vines planted in clay and limestone soils which are cultivated with organic treatments and limiting production to 44 hl/ ha. When the Pinot Noir variety reaches its optimum moment of ripening, it’s harvested by hand. Joseph Drouhin Pommard is a pleasant red wine with intense aromas of black fruit, spicy notes and hints of leather. On the palate it’s harmonious, light and very elegant. It has firm tannins and a very pleasant balance between acidity and alcohol. The aftertaste is lingering and persistent.
