La Parcelle du Rocher draws its character from the clay-limestone soil of the southern slope of Saint-Emilion. The grapes enjoy optimal exposure combined with the freshness of a limestone terroir. An organic growing approach has been used on these soils for ten years, and the vines fully benefit from this enrichment. Produced from organically grown grapes, this wine is made up of 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It is full of ripe black fruits and concentrated tannins. It comes from vineyards to the east of Saint-Émilion, showing minerality as well as layers of dense fruit.
